Exchange Students:

Most student exchange takes place within the ERASMUS programme (comprising universities and colleges within the EU and the EFTA countries), the NORDPLUS programmes (comprising universities and colleges in the Nordic countries), and through bilateral exchange agreements on all continents.

Applicants for admission as exchange students must be nominated by their home university for a period of study abroad (1 or 2 semesters) at the University of Bergen. Check with your home university whether an exchange agreement exists between your university and the University of Bergen and submit your on-line application to us when you have been nominated by your home university. If such an exchange agreement does not exist, you are not eligible for admission.

Please observe that the University of Bergen does not offer any scholarships for exchange students.
